NEW TRACK MAGIC MUSHROOMS IS OUT

The secret to having a great city is working with neighbors to make it a better place.  What time of year is better than the holidays for getting outside, knocking on some doors, and making friends?  It's a great excuse, and the cheer is contagious.  The grinches are fewer and further between than you might think.

The long awaited 4th annual Federal Hill Holiday Decorating Contest Awards Ceremony!

      Nov 16

Well Ladies and Gentlemen, the time to start planning decorations is definitely upon us. Clark and Eddie are ready to help with any advice you might need, or the occasional hand with a difficult project.  Please spread the word to your neighbors!

Clark and Eddie just pulled the 23 foot lighted candy canes out of storage: time to dig into those basement bins! Here's a story about last year's event for inspiration.

Thanksgiving is around the corner! Clark and Eddie are planning to put up some decorations on the weekend after enjoying time with family and friends. Our wonderful neighborhood has wreaths for sale and plenty of holiday events to keep one inspired.

      Dec 4

December is here and the lights are starting to appear. A bit of wet weather won't dampen the spirit: Clark and Eddie enjoyed this "Believe" sign on the 800 block of William Street. The cheer is indeed contagious this year...

Contest categories: Clark W. Griswold Memorial (LIGHTS!!); Hampden Wanna-Be (think "Hon"); Slightly Classy; Winter Wonderland (by block); Williamsburg Style (classy, with fruit).

The calendar has once again rolled forward, and we have reached our 5th year of the Federal Hill Holiday Decorating Contest!!  Today we would like to wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving, and mention how thankful we are for our neighbors who make living in Federal Hill such fun all year long!

Over the last 5 years, we have watched the sense of community grow through year round efforts by all of you, and it's really made a huge difference.  It's hard to walk in or out of the house, or down the street without running into good friends.  The neighborhood feels like a small town, and it's a place we are happy to call home.

Clark and Eddie have a few secret projects up our sleeve for this holiday season, but are most excited to see all of you who have made the 5th annual contest worth throwing!
